3737 posts · Joined 2009. #2 · Mar 18, 2013. fit the fully charged battery to the bike. start it. test the voltage on the battery using a multimeter. it should be over 12.5 while running and then drop off when you kill the motor. if the voltage stays the same when its running and not running it will be the reg/rec or the stator. check the

250EXC carb increased from 35 to 37mm. 450 EXC/MXC replaced the 400 via a stroke increase from 64mm to 72mm, (same as the 520/525).
