Having called Vauxhall, they confirmed that the model I have (2014) isn't able to receive the Intellilink Navi 900 update which enables Android Auto - this is from 2016 models only.

Insignia (elite) 2011 2.0 cdti (No satnav installed) When i press phone only thing that comes up is mute/unmute----config settings no phone settings. according to manual a consul to hold phone is required but it is not there and i can't see where it can go anyway.
The problem is that the USB and AUX ports do not work. When you plug a device into the USB port, nothing happens, e.g. it does not charge phones. The AUX port also does nothing when you plug a phone in to play music, you select CD/AUX and it says, no CD inserted, i.e. it does not recognize the device connected via AUX.
